Guardian Angels Join Reception for Lunch

Each Reception child has a Guardian Angel in Year 6.  When Year 6 pupils were in Year 5, they were paired up with a Reception child and wrote to them to welcome them to Hale Prep.  During Reception's welcome visit in June, they were introduced to their Guardian Angel.  Since starting in September, the relationships between the Year 6 pupils and the Reception children have blossomed.  The Year 6 pupils take their guardian roles very seriously and do an excellent job with the little ones, regularly spending time with them during lunchtime.  Yesterday, the two classes had lunch together, which proved an enormous success and will definitely be repeated.
