Scary Spider!

We have been working on using time connectives in recounts, explanations and instructional writing in Year 4. We wrote a set of instructions explaining how to make a ‘Scary Spider’. The next morning, we came into the classroom and discovered a whole nest of spiders had appeared overnight! They came in all shapes and sizes. Some only had one eye, one had no eyes, one was a baby spider, and one was called ‘Sir Bobby Charlton!’. We also know that the word ‘nest’ is the collective noun for a group of spiders.
