Remembrance
Class: Year 4 Year: 2023 - 2024
Year 4 have been talking about the importance of remembrance at this time of year. On Tuesday we welcomed Mrs Ponter to school to talk about her family's sad story of loss in World War Two. She brought a special parcel which was sent across the world by a soldier and we were very lucky to be able to open it! It was a great opportunity for the children to ask questions about life during the World Wars and has given us all plenty to think about during the two minute silence.
